On the misconception of cheating online Roulette, predicting the next outcome, it is best explained like this: The next spin will produce a result which in no way is linked to any previous spins. The only way to predict the next outcome would be to have the mechanics of the algorithm used by the casino, if this information was made public than the casino would either become bankrupt or immediately change the algorithm.

This involves doubling your bet when you lose. If you bet 1 unit on red and black comes up then you double your next bet on red, and so on. Why this fails is because this doubling quickly grows, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128 etc. To combat this, casinos have table limits and you put yourself in a position where you have to bet a high value to win the original one unit stake.
